Project Description

Itchington

Detailed planning consent for 17 homes

Originally a limeworks, although unused at the time of application following demolition of all buildings, the 2 acre semi-rural site on the outskirts of Thornbury achieved planning consent in 2015 for 17 residential dwellings with a mix of 12 private and 5 shared ownership homes.

Situated in a much sought after location overlooking neighbouring farmland and open countryside, the development enjoys easy access to both the M4 and M5 motorways just under 6 miles away and Bristol 11 miles away.

Given its rural setting within a traditionally styled village, design work to vary the homes through planning to reflect the local architectural style including local stone and pantiles was key in achieving a successful outcome.
