Detailed planning consent for 166 homes
This site on the edge of Lydney had a previous outline planning permission for 110 homes with 40% being affordable. With a considered design approach coupled with discussions with the local planning authority and District Valuer on viability this was improved to 166 homes with 18% affordable, resulting in an enhanced land value for the landowners.
In addition to the new homes, the scheme will provide community allotments, electric vehicle charging points, electric cycle hire, outdoor gym equipment, CCTV and wifi hotspots in open space acres.
The development has been nominated as a finalist in the 2020 Housebuilder Awards.
